Reshika Rimal
I am an epidemiologist, a biostatistician, and a girl who enjoys public health, bioinformatics, statistics, and data science.
I am from Nepal, and I love research. I use statistical analysis and evidence synthesis to explore questions in population and clinical health.
I hold an MPH in Epidemiology and am pursuing an MS in Biostatistics and Health Analytics at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am also an AHEC Scholar in the Sierra cohort.
Outside of research, I love travelling and exploring new places.
Analytical focus
Statistical methods for health research
My interests span gambling- and alcohol-related harms, real-world evidence, and health equity. I am also exploring cancer disparities in low- and middle-income countries, pharmacoepidemiology, and pharmacoeconomics.
I apply rigorous methods and communicate results clearly to support health research and informed decisions.
